642g of beef thigh cut into bite-sized chunks
1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
1/2 tsp of salt
1.5 tbsp of all-purpose flour
3 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves of minced garlic
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp regular paprika
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 cup of red wine (optional)
400g of canned diced tomatoes
2 medium potatoes, sliced
1 medium carrot, sliced
2 dried bay leaves
1 tbsp of honey
1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
400ml of chicken stock
1 large red bell pepper, sliced
Garnish fresh parsley

Heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.

Stir in the beef chunks, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned.

Add the all-purpose flour, regular paprika, and smoked paprika, stirring to coat the meat.

Pour in the red wine (if using) and let it simmer for a few minutes.

Add the canned diced tomatoes, chicken stock, honey, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, sliced potatoes, sliced carrots, and sliced bell pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer until the vegetables are tender and the beef is cooked through.
