Grass-fed beef is leaner and more nutritious; ribeye steak is more budget-friendly.
Start by cutting the potatoes into chunks.
Preheat the oven to 475°F.
Place the cut potatoes in a nonstick pan with non-stick spray.
Add chopped bell peppers and onions to the pan with the potatoes.
Chop garlic and add it to the pan.
Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Add garlic butter to the pan and mix everything together.
Cover the pan with foil and place it in the oven for about 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, transfer the pan to the grill to finish cooking the potatoes for another 30 minutes.
Prepare the tomahawk steak by drizzling olive oil over it and rubbing it in.
Season the steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on all sides.
Add fresh thyme to the steak and press it in to help it stick.
Preheat the grill to 400°F.
Once the grill is ready, place the steak on the grill with the presentation side down.
Sear the steak for a few minutes before flipping it over to sear the other side.
Monitor the internal temperature of the steak; it should reach about 135°F for medium-rare.
Add garlic butter on top of the steak while it cooks on the grill.
Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest before slicing.
