Flank steak with chimichurri sauce: Get Jet Tila’s recipe!

Start with a food processor and add garlic.

Add olive oil to the food processor.

Add cilantro, parsley, dried oregano, and garlic to the food processor.

Add red wine vinegar (optional) and salt.

Blend until the mixture is pourable to make chimichurri.

Marinate the flank steak with salt and cracked pepper.

Add soy sauce as a secret ingredient to the marinade.

Prepare the grill on maximum heat.

Place the marinated flank steak on the grill.

Check for grill marks after a few minutes; the meat should release on its own when ready.

Add thick sliced onions to the grill once the steak is cooking.

Wait until the onions soften and develop color.

Check that the steak has reached the target temperature and remove it from the grill.

Let the steak rest on a separate cutting board to retain juices.

Cut the steak with the grain first, then slice it perpendicular to the grain.

Smother the grilled onions over the sliced steak.

Drizzle chimichurri over the steak and serve some on the side.
