1 Cup Almonds
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 Tbsp Rose Water

Soak the almonds in water for about 4 hours or overnight.

Drain the soaked almonds and peel off the skins.

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add the peeled almonds to the boiling sugar syrup and stir well.

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the almonds are coated with syrup.

Add cardamom powder, saffron strands, and rose water (if using) to the mixture and stir well.

Continue to cook for another 5 minutes until the syrup thickens slightly.

Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, transfer the mixture to a serving dish or airtight container.

Serve as a sweet snack or dessert.
