Maple Syrup Pie

1 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1 pre-made pie crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, heavy cream, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Sift in the flour and salt, and stir until just combined.

Pour the filling into the pre-made pie crust, spreading it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with whipped cream.
