4 scallions
1 teaspoon thyme
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 cups water
to taste hot sauce
1/4 cup parsley
