700 grams tomato passata sauce
2 seeded and diced tomatoes
1/2 cup water
400 grams canned lentils, drained and rinsed
2 teaspoons dried thyme
grated Parmesan (for serving)

Add finely chopped brown onion, celery stalks, grated carrot, and finely chopped garlic cloves.

Cook for 5 minutes to soften the vegetables.
