1

In a pan, add some oil and turn the heat to medium while the pan is still cold.

2

Add the diced onion and the white part of the green onion to the pan.

3

Add about 2 tablespoons of garlic and cook until everything becomes aromatic.

4

Once aromatic, add the ground pork to the pan and turn the heat to high.

5

When the pork is about 80% cooked, add 1.5 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of five spice mix, and 0.5 teaspoon of white pepper.

6

Cook until the pork is completely cooked through.

7

Lower the heat to medium and thicken the pork mixture with a mixture of cornstarch and water.

8

After mixing well, turn off the heat and set the pork aside.

9

For the tari sauce, combine 0.5 cup of chicken broth, 2 teaspoons of vinegar, and 2 teaspoons of light soy sauce in a pot and bring to a boil.

10

Once boiling, mix well and turn off the heat.

11

Cook the noodles according to package instructions; in this case, cook for 4 minutes once the water starts boiling.

12

After 4 minutes, turn off the heat and start assembling the dish.

13

In a bowl, add about 1 liter of the tari sauce, then add the cooked noodles.

14

Top with garlic (about 1 teaspoon), green onion, corn, the cooked pork, and an egg yolk.
