1

Start by setting up the transia stove with the ultra light stove pot stand.

2

Mix 1 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in a bowl to create the basic bannock mix.

3

The mixture should be a big lump, not too wet like muffin mix.

4

Grease a tart pan with some of the bannock mix to prevent sticking.

5

Press the bannock mixture into the greased tart pan.

6

Place the tart pan on the simmer ring of the stove.

7

Cover the pan with the muffin fan guard at an angle to allow steam to escape.

8

Bake for approximately 20-24 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.

9

After 20 minutes, check the bannock; if it sticks to the toothpick, continue baking.

10

After 23-24 minutes, check again; if the toothpick comes out clean, it is done.

11

Remove the bannock from the pan and flip it onto a plate.

12

Slice the bannock and serve with butter or jelly.
