1

Pull frozen yeast rolls out of the freezer and place them on a baking pan, giving them room to grow.

2

Cover the rolls with cling wrap that has been lightly sprayed with cooking spray, and let them thaw and rise for 3 to 5 hours in a cool place.

3

After the rolls have risen, prepare a cream cheese filling by mixing 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of milk using a hand mixer until creamy.

4

Lightly coat the risen rolls with melted butter using a pastry brush.

5

Use the bottom of a measuring cup to press down into each roll, creating a small hole for filling.

6

Fill the hole with cream cheese mixture and then add pie filling (peach or blueberry) on top.

7

Continue filling all the rolls with desired fillings.

8

Preheat the oven to 375°F and bake the rolls for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

9

Let the rolls rest on the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a towel to cool.

10

Optionally, pipe a powdered sugar glaze over the cooled kolaches if desired.
