1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in the vegan chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.

Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
