1

Dice fresh coconut and add water to it; blend until smooth to extract juice.

2

Strain the blended coconut to get the juice, discarding the pulp.

3

Wash rice and place it in a pot; cover it with water and let it soak.

4

Add the extracted coconut juice to the soaked rice.

5

Sieve the coconut juice while adding it to the rice to remove any coconut crumbs.

6

Add Maggie seasoning and salt to the rice; stir well.

7

Cover the pot and let the rice cook properly without stirring too much.

8

After some time, check the rice; if it's almost dry, add scotch bonnet for spice (optional).

9

Blend ginger, garlic, and onions together; add paprika to the blender and blend until slightly smooth.

10

In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil and fry turkey until well cooked.

11

Remove turkey from the frying pan and set aside; use the same pan to prepare the sauce.

12

Add onions to the pan and stir for a bit; then add the blended ginger, garlic, and paprika mixture.

13

Stir well and cover the pan; once it dries, add Maggie seasoning and salt to taste.

14

Add the fried turkey back to the sauce and stir to combine; cover and let it cook properly.
