Bake 250 grams of boeren rookworst in slices with 2 tablespoons of maize oil until lightly browned.

Add 200 grams of large chicken to the pan and cook until browned.

Cover the pot with the lid slightly ajar and let it simmer for about an hour on medium heat until the water is bubbling slowly.
