🥗Healthier: quinoa

💰Cheaper: breadcrumbs

Quinoa is a healthier grain alternative, while breadcrumbs are more economical.

1

Clean the chicken and remove excess fat and skin.

2

Prepare a marinade with 200 ml of water, juice from 2 large lemons, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of dried chili pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

3

Add 1 teaspoon of paprika and 2 tablespoons of concentrated extract to the marinade.

4

Blend the marinade ingredients until smooth.

5

Poke holes in the chicken using a fork to help the marinade penetrate the meat.

6

Pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure to coat it thoroughly inside and out.

7

Cover the chicken with plastic wrap or place it in a sealed bag and refrigerate for at least 12 hours, turning it every 2 hours to ensure even marination.

8

Stuff the chicken with a small onion and a bell pepper before roasting.

9

Preheat the oven to 150°C (302°F).

10

Cover the chicken with aluminum foil, shiny side down, and roast for 1 hour.

11

After 1 hour, remove the aluminum foil and let the chicken roast until the skin is golden and crispy.
