Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.

Carefully drop the filled dough into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.

Fry until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove the beignets from the oil and drain on paper towels.

While still warm, dust the beignets with powdered sugar.

Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
