maize flour

🥗Healthier: whole grain flour

💰Cheaper: cornmeal

Whole grain flour adds fiber and nutrients while cornmeal is often less expensive.

1

Boil black tea and ginger in water that was previously boiled and stored in the fridge.

2

Prepare maize flour (posho) by cooking it in a pot.

3

Peel the top and bottom of the bananas, wash them, and cook them whole using banana leaves.

4

Light a second stove to speed up the cooking process.

5

Chop onions and carrots for the beans.

6

Cook the beans that were previously harvested and stored in the fridge.

7

Add spices including paprika, turmeric, and chopped tomatoes to the beans.

8

Add ghee to the beans for aroma and flavor.

9

Let the beans cook until they have enough soup, as it is preferred to have some broth with the posho.

10

Keep the posho warm for several hours to serve later.
