Make homemade Browning by melting brown sugar with water until it reaches a perfect consistency and let it cool.
Blend white sugar in a Magic Bullet for about 1 minute to speed up melting.
Add an egg to the melted sugar, removing the white part, and mix with lemon or lime zest.
Pour in dark rum and Mexican vanilla, followed by vegetable oil instead of butter.
Mix in fruit jam (optional) and ground spices, including fresh nutmeg, and beat well.
Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and mix.
Add the Browning to the flour mixture and mix until you achieve a desired color.
Incorporate the flour in two parts using a spatula, mixing in rum or wine or cherry cream as desired.
Add chunky mixed dried fruits, including crushed ones, and measure out regular raisins, Tutti Frutti, and currants, mixing well.
Pat the mixture to remove bubbles and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Place the cake in a 355°F oven on the middle rack for about 55 minutes.
Once the cake is out of the oven, immediately brush it with a mixture of almond and honey and fine cognac.
On the second day, decorate the cake with powdered sugar and colored sugar before cutting it.
