Mushroom Pasta Recipe (Spaghetti) - BenjiManTV

Start by boiling water in a pot until it reaches a rolling boil.

In a 12-inch non-stick pan, heat the pan on medium heat.

Roughly chop shiitake and oyster mushrooms and add them to the dry skillet.

Cook the mushrooms for about 3 to 5 minutes until they sweat and begin to brown.

Once the mushrooms are cooking, add spaghetti to the boiling pot of water.

Scoot the mushrooms to the side of the pan and add olive oil, turning the heat up to high.

Add sliced onions, chopped ham, minced garlic, and crushed red pepper to the pan and stir-fry for about 2 to 4 minutes.

Optionally, add soy sauce to the pan to enhance the mushroom flavors, and season with salt and pepper as needed.

When the spaghetti is done, add it to the high heat pan with the mushrooms and other ingredients.

Use a little bit of pasta water to enhance the juiciness of the dish.

Right before finishing, add chopped parsley to the pan, then plate the dish.

Shave on some Parmesan cheese before serving.
