Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 1/2 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. 2Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. 3Add the sliced pork tenderloin to the skillet and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
  5. 5In the same skillet, add the trimmed asparagus and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. 6Return the cooked pork to the skillet with the asparagus.
  7. 7Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.
  8. 8Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through and allow the flavors to meld.
  9. 9Drizzle with sesame oil and toss to coat.
  10. 10Garnish with chopped green onion before serving.
