Garlic Butter Pasta

8 oz spaghetti
to taste water
to taste salt
1 tsp garlic powder
to taste black pepper
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter

Fill a pan with water and add salt.
