Garlic Butter Pasta

Wash and thinly slice the mushrooms.

Finely chop 3 stalks of chives, separating the white and green parts.

Prepare ginger, garlic, and a small amount of scotch bonnet pepper.

Boil water in a pot and add a good amount of salt before adding the pasta.

Add pasta to boiling water, ensuring it is fully submerged.

In a separate pan, melt 3 tbsp of butter and add 5 finely minced garlic cloves and minced ginger.

Add the white part of the chives and sauté for about a minute without browning.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the sautéed mixture and stir to coat.

Add extra virgin olive oil and the scotch bonnet pepper to the mushroom mixture.

Add the green part of the chives, reserving some for decoration.

Season with onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, rosemary, and 1 tsp paprika.

Add chicken bouillon to enhance flavor.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add it to the mushroom sauce, stirring to coat well.

Let the pasta sit in the sauce for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.

Garnish with leftover chives before serving.
