Welcome everyone to our tutorial on how to cook Paraguayan food, today's dish is Pajagua Mascada.
Here are our ingredients: cooked meat, cooked cassava, flour, 2 tablespoons of margarine or oil, locote, garlic, green onion, 1 egg, salt, cumin, and pepper.
Start by adding 1 egg to a bowl.
Add the locote, garlic, and green onion to the bowl for flavor.
Season with salt to taste, but not too much since the cassava was cooked in salted water.
Add some pepper and cumin to the mixture.
Add 2 tablespoons of oil or margarine to the mixture.
Mix everything thoroughly to combine the flavors of the processed cassava and cooked meat.
Take portions of the mixture and shape them into small patties.
Coat each patty in flour, ensuring they are well covered.
Heat a skillet with plenty of hot oil for frying.
Fry the patties until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once golden, remove the patties and place them on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
Serve hot, optionally with fresh salads or bean salads.
