In another bowl, mix 300 g of sugar with 500 ml of warm milk until dissolved, then add to the flour mixture.

Cover the dough with cling film and let it rise for 1 hour.

For the filling, mix 6 egg whites with 170 g of sugar and 1 rum essence.

Add 300 g of ground walnut kernels and 10 g of cocoa to the egg white mixture and mix well.

Grease the table with oil and turn the dough onto it, dividing it into 4 equal parts.

Roll out each piece of dough, spread the walnut mixture over each, and add raisins and shit cut into small cubes.

Roll each piece of dough and weave two pieces together.

Transfer the woven dough to a tray lined with baking paper and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.

Brush the dough with egg yolk and sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
