4 large apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix the sliced apples with 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

In another bowl, combine the melted butter, flour, milk, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the apple mixture at the bottom.

Pour half of the batter over the apples, then add the remaining apples on top.

Pour the remaining batter over the second layer of apples.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs and the remaining sugar on top of the batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
