Start by preparing the calulu leaves, cutting off the big stalks and checking for any bad leaves.
Wash the calulu leaves in water and set them aside.
Prepare the okra by cutting off the tops and slicing them in half.
Chop the onions into small pieces.
Soak the smoked catfish in water to soften it before cooking.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add the soaked smoked catfish to it.
Add the chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they become translucent.
Incorporate the okra into the pan and stir well with the fish and onions.
Add the calulu leaves to the mixture, stirring to combine all ingredients.
Season with salt and any other spices you prefer, adjusting to taste.
Cover the pan and let it cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the leaves and okra are tender.
