Boil water in a pot.

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.

Chop 1/8 of a red onion and add it to the pan.

Add 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic and 3 mushrooms to the pan.

Sauté until tender.

Cut up chicken tenderloins, removing the vein.

Wash hands after handling chicken.

Cook the chicken in a separate pan with a little olive oil.

Add pasta to boiling water and cook according to package directions.

Add basil, sautéed vegetables, and chicken back into the sauce and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.
