Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Dust the surface with flour.
Place the puff pastry on the floured surface.
Put the brie cheese on the puff pastry.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter on the stovetop.
Add 1/2 cup of nuts and a pinch of ground cinnamon to the melted butter.
Pour the nut mixture on top of the brie cheese.
Pack 1/4 cup of brown sugar on top of the nuts.
Wrap the puff pastry around the brie, trimming excess if desired.
Place the wrapped brie in an oven-proof pan or lined baking sheet.
Mix 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of water and brush it over the pastry.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Let it sit for about an hour before cutting into it.
