Into a bowl, add the almond flour.
Next, add the sugar substitute, using stevia.
Add cacao powder to the bowl.
Add in some baking powder and whisk the dry ingredients well.
Next, add in the unsalted softened butter and a drizzle of vanilla extract.
Add in the eggs along with some unsweetened almond milk and mix well until combined.
The batter will be lumpy due to the almond flour, but that's okay.
This recipe makes two cakes, so pour half the batter into each springform cake tin lined with baking paper.
Place them in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before removing from the tins and allowing to cool completely.
For the frosting, add softened cream cheese, softened unsalted butter, and a sugar substitute (stevia) into a mixing bowl.
Add cacao powder and a small amount of full fat heavy cream.
Whip the frosting until it's light and creamy, using a stand mixer or by hand.
Place one of the cakes onto a cake stand and dollop some cream cheese frosting on top, spreading it evenly.
For the middle layer, make it thick, adding more frosting than what will go on top.
Place the second cake on top and repeat the frosting process for the top, smoothing out all sides.
Add frosting to the sides and go around the cakes with a palette knife to smooth it out.
Add no added sugar keto friendly chocolate chips around the rim of the cake.
Melt some of the same chocolate chips and drizzle it over the top of the cake.
