Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a bundt pan with butter and dust with flour.
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in milk and vanilla extract until combined.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Divide the batter in half; mix cocoa powder into one half.
Spoon alternating layers of the two batters into the prepared bundt pan.
Swirl the batters together gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Invert the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
