1 tblsp tomato purée
2 medium size fresh tomato
300g beef cubes
3 1/2 tblsp berbere spice
salt
water
3 medium cloves garlic
green pepper

Heat the oil in a pot.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

Stir in the garlic and cook for a minute.

Add the beef cubes and brown them on all sides.

Mix in the tomato purée and fresh tomatoes, cooking until softened.

Pour in water as required to cover the ingredients and simmer until the beef is tender.
