In a large bowl, mix 4 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Dissolve 1 tablespoon of yeast in 1 cup of warm water and let it sit until frothy.
Add 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup of melted butter to the yeast mixture.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it; let it rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Shape the risen dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
Brush the top with an egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, orange zest, and 1/2 cup of raisins.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
