How to make Quick and Easy Ground Beef and Potatoes Mexican Recipe Carne Molida con Papas

Turn on the stove to medium heat and add 3 cups of hot water.

Add 2 Chiles Morita to the water and leave them for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, add 1 cleaned and seeded Chile ancho and 3 Roma tomatoes to the pot.

Boil until the skin of the tomatoes starts breaking apart, then turn off the heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

Transfer the cooled ingredients to a blender along with 1/8 teaspoon of whole cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, 2 cloves of garlic, 1/4 white onion, 1.5 cups of water, and salt to taste, then blend until smooth.
