Vegan Chili

1/2 cup water
1 small can tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes (roasted garlic)
1 large can tomato sauce
1 large can mild chili beans
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
chili seasoning
onion powder
garlic powder
black pepper

Heat olive oil in a pan.

Add 1/2 cup water to help brown the frozen Gardein Beefless Ground.

Saute onions and green bell pepper (can be done in the same pot).

Add 1 small can of tomato paste and stir.

Add 1 can of diced tomatoes (roasted garlic) and 1 large can of tomato sauce.

Adjust chili consistency by adding more tomato sauce, water, or broth if desired.

Season with onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and chili seasoning to taste.

Add 1 large can of mild chili beans (no need to rinse) and 1 can of black beans (rinsed) and 1 can of kidney beans (rinsed).

Stir all ingredients together.

Add chili seasoning according to package directions and stir.

Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to balance flavors and stir.

Optional: Add hot sauce or jalapenos for spice.

Stir in the Gardein Beefless Ground again for consistency.
