Soak equal parts of moong and masoor dal for a while.

In a pan, add soaked lentils and water.

Add 3 tablespoons of oil to the pan with lentils.

Add half a chicken cube, 1 teaspoon of salt, and half a teaspoon of turmeric to the lentils.

Add 1 tablespoon of Kashmiri red chili powder to the lentils and mix well.
