Liquid Smoke (more than 2 tablespoons)
honey (more than 1 tablespoon)
garlic paste (more than 1 tablespoon)
paprika (more than 2 teaspoons)
cumin (about 1 teaspoon)
onion powder (more than 1 tablespoon)
black pepper (2 teaspoons)

Slice the onion into thin rings and place them at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Remove the pork roast from packaging and place it on top of the sliced onions.

Pour Dr Pepper over the pork roast, using less than the entire bottle.

In a small bowl, mix together Liquid Smoke, honey, and garlic paste, adding more than the recipe calls for.
