1 lb Italian sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
