Open the can of chickpeas and drain them.

Add 2 tablespoons of green seasoning and 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste to the chickpeas.

Add 2 tablespoons of mango chutney to the chickpeas.

Prepare soaked split peas by soaking them overnight in water with a little baking soda.

Add onion to the mixture.

Heat coconut oil in the pressure cooker and fry the onion for about 2 minutes.

Add the cumin powder, turmeric powder, and ginger garlic paste to the fried onion and stir.

Add the chickpeas and soaked split peas to the pressure cooker.

Add water to cover the ingredients and cover the pressure cooker.

Pressure cook until the split peas are nice and soft.

Add the mango chutney, sugar, and salt to the cooked mixture.

Add the green seasoning and bring the mixture to a boil.

Use the back of a spoon to crush some of the chickpeas while leaving some whole.
