Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into strips.
Wrap the strips around wooden cones or cylindrical molds, overlapping slightly.
Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before removing from the molds.
Optionally, roll in additional toppings like nuts or chocolate.
