In a large bowl, add 1 kg refined flour and 250 g ragi flour.

Make a well in the center of the flour and add 50 g activated dry yeast.

Add 120 g softened butter, 3 eggs, 20 ml vegetable oil, and 1/2 cup warm water into the well.

Mix the ingredients together and knead into a dough.

Drizzle 1 to 2 tbsp vegetable oil over the dough and cover with a wet muslin cloth.

Let the dough prove for 40 minutes.

After 40 minutes, sprinkle flour on the tabletop and take the dough out.

Knead the dough again to remove excess air.

Set aside a quarter of the dough to form a round shape for the base.

Place the round dough in a baking container.

Roll the remaining dough into long thin ropes and braid them together.

Cut one more thin rope into equal pieces and place them in a cross position in the container.

Place the braided ropes along the edges of the container.

Cover the dough again with a wet muslin cloth and let it prove for 30 minutes.

After proving, coat the dough with two egg washes and sprinkle 2 tsp flax seeds on top.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Bake the bread for 20 minutes.
