Melt 6 teaspoons of butter in a pot.

Add 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt to the pot and mix.

Bring the mixture to a boil.

Remove the pot from heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 cup of flour, mixing until a dough forms.

Let the dough cool slightly on a plate to speed up the cooling process.

Once cooled, place the dough back in the pot and add 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth.

Transfer the dough into a piping bag with a star tip.

Refrigerate the filled piping bag for about 10 minutes before frying.

Heat oil in a shallow dish to medium-high heat (about number 6 on the stove).

Test the oil by dropping a small piece of dough in to see if it sizzles.

Pipe the dough into the hot oil, making churros of your desired length.

Fry until one side is golden brown, then flip to cook the other side until golden brown.
