1/2 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon five spice
1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.

1

In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.

2

Place the pork steaks in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.

3

Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for better flavor.

4

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

5

Remove the pork steaks from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.

6

Grill the pork steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.

7

During the last minute of cooking, brush some of the reserved marinade over the steaks for extra flavor.

8

Once cooked, remove the pork steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.

9

Slice the pork steaks and serve them garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
