Place the dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread a mixture of walnuts, raisins, sugar, and spices over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly into a log; cut into pieces.
Place the pieces in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Brush the tops with egg wash before baking.
Bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
Cool slightly before serving.
