In a clean bowl, add 1/4 cup of degu.
Wash the degu thoroughly.
Soak the washed degu for 1 hour on the countertop.
After soaking, check the texture; it should be softened but still raw.
Cook the degu in a non-stick pan on the stove for 3 to 5 minutes.
Add butter to the cooked degu for a savory flavor.
Add desired plant yogurt to the cooked degu in spoonful amounts, reserving the rest in the refrigerator.
Add your choice of sweetener; the creator uses honey.
Stir and taste the mixture to adjust sweetness as needed.
Add plant milk (soy milk) to the mixture and stir.
Taste again and adjust sweetness if necessary.
Store the cooled mixture in a container.
