10-Minute Stovetop Vegan Pizza Recipe (No Oven, No Dough Rise!)

Make self-rising flour by combining 4 cups all-purpose flour, 6 teaspoons baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. Mix well.

Store the self-rising flour in an airtight container until ready to use.

For the pizza dough, combine 2 cups of self-rising flour, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a bowl.

Gradually add 3/4 cup water to the mixture until a soft dough forms, mixing until combined.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Roll out the dough to fit the cast iron skillet, adding flour to the bench as needed.

Fold the dough in half and then in half again to transfer it to the skillet without sticking.

Preheat the skillet over medium heat with a little oil, then add the dough to the skillet.

Cook the first side for about 5 to 7 minutes until bubbles form on top.

Add pizza sauce and toppings on top of the cooked side of the dough.

Cover the skillet with a lid to help cook the toppings and melt the cheese.

Once cooked, transfer the pizza to a cutting board and drizzle with olive oil, vegan parmesan, and red pepper flakes if desired.
