Bring required water to a boil.

Add in 500 g of baby hake fish.

Cover and allow it to steam on medium heat for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and remove the skin, fins, and center bone from the fish.

Add the fish to a mixing bowl.

Mix and mince the fish.

Roughly cut one large potato.

Dip each fish cake in the whisked egg and then cover in bread crumbs again for double crumbing.

Shallow fry the fish cakes in vegetable oil on medium heat for 3 minutes on each side.
