Mix milk with turmeric in a bowl.
Add fish to the milk mixture.
Microwave the fish for 5-7 minutes until cooked.
Wash and chop sweet potato, then add to boiling water with sugar.
Boil sweet potato for about 10 minutes until soft.
Drain the sweet potato and mash it, leaving the skin on.
Chop red cabbage, green cabbage, and onion finely for coleslaw.
Mix chopped cabbage and onion in a glass bowl.
Add mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and raisins to the cabbage mixture and mix well.
Cover the coleslaw with cling film and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Check the fish to ensure it's cooked, then drain the milk.
In a bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, an egg, and spices.
Add flour and break the fish into chunky pieces, mixing everything together by hand.
Shape the mixture into small fish cakes, ensuring they are not too thick.
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
Place the fish cakes on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through after about 11 minutes.
Check for doneness and bake for an additional 5 minutes if necessary.
Serve the fish cakes with a sauce of your choice.
