Preheat the oven to 150°C.
Brown the beef in a hot cast iron casserole dish with 1 tablespoon of almond oil.
Add a whole onion, bay leaves, salt, and enough water to cover the meat.
Cover the pot and place it in the preheated oven for about 4 hours.
After 4 hours, check the beef; it should be soft and breaking apart.
Remove the bay leaves and onion from the pot.
Cook the beef uncovered on the stove to reduce the liquid.
Mash the beef to achieve a shredded effect, removing any excess fat.
Prepare a side of butternut by chopping it, adding salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, butter, and cinnamon sticks, then place it in the oven.
Make a green bean and broccoli salad, dressing it with a mixture of Dijon mustard, olive oil, honey, and fat-free salad cream.
