It combines sweet milk tea with chewy tapioca pearls, creating a playful texture that delights drinkers. This beverage has inspired countless variations worldwide, with flavors ranging from fruit-infused to matcha, making it a global favorite among tea lovers.

Honey adds natural sweetness and flavor.
Steep the tea bags in the freshly boiled water for 3-5 minutes and remove.
Sweeten to taste with 2-4 Tbsp honey, then place in fridge to cool.
Bring a medium pot of water to boil.
Add the tapioca pearls and boil for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
After 25 minutes, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and allow the tapioca to continue cooking in the hot water for another 5-10 minutes until all the pearls are completely translucent.
Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse with cold water.
Transfer to a small bowl and gently stir in 2 Tbsp honey.
Evenly divide the honeyed pearls among four tall glasses, about 2 Tbsp in each.
Fill the glasses the rest of the way with ice.
Pour 8 oz tea into each glass.
Drizzle 1 Tbsp cream over the top of each and add a straw to gently mix and drink.
