Cook the chilies in the oil for about 4-5 minutes, watching for color change and aroma.
Remove the chilies from the oil to prevent excess heat and retain the oil's flavor.
Add 150 grams of chopped onions to the chili oil.
Season with approximately 1 teaspoon of salt to taste.
Cook the onions until they are fully incorporated and reduced down.
