Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk (100-110°F) with active dry yeast and a little white sugar; let it sit for 5-8 minutes until foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine bread flour, white sugar, and salt; mix well.
Add the activated yeast mixture and 1 large egg to the dry ingredients; mix well.
Using a dough hook, knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth; alternatively, knead by hand on a flat surface.
Grease a large bowl with oil; shape the dough into a ball and place it in the greased bowl, turning it to coat with oil.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
Once risen, gently deflate the dough and place it on a flat surface; roll it into a rectangle about a quarter of an inch thick.
Layer slices of ham on the dough, leaving a 1-inch border at the bottom and a half-inch border on the sides.
Place strips of bacon on top of the ham, leaving about 3 inches of space between them.
Sprinkle raisins evenly over the bacon and ham.
Place two rows of green olives, one near the top border and one in the middle of the loaf.
Starting from the top border, roll the dough around the first row of olives; continue rolling gently until the end.
Wet the bottom border with warm water and pinch the seam to seal; do the same with both ends of the loaf.
Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; loosely cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, remove the plastic wrap and brush the top with egg wash or melted butter; pierce the top with a fork to allow steam to escape.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
